Community Artists’ Fair returns to Vassall Community Hub this summer with new kids area

We’re delighted to welcome back the Community Artists’ Fair to the Vassall Community Hub this summer - taking place on Saturday 27 June 2026, 10:00am - 4:00pm.

This much-loved Arts & Crafts Market continues to grow, bringing together local artists, makers and the community for a relaxed day celebrating creativity, connection and sustainability. Entry is free, making it open and accessible to everyone.

New Kids Area

This edition introduces a dedicated Kids Area, making the fair even more welcoming for families. There will be storytelling sessions, face painting, and drawing activities throughout the day.

What else to expect

Visitors can browse a wide range of handmade work from Bristol’s creative community, including:

• Original paintings and artworks

• Illustrations, prints and zines

• Ceramics, textiles and handmade crafts

• Upcycled fashion, accessories and jewellery

With the on-site café open, free parking available, and dogs welcome, it’s an easy and enjoyable way to spend a summer day in Fishponds. Whether you’re looking for something unique, a gift, or just a chance to explore local creativity, there’s something for every taste and budget.

Supporting local artists

The fair is organised by Circular ArtSpace, a Bristol-based non-profit supporting emerging and under-represented artists. Their events create opportunities for artists to connect directly with local communities - and they take no commission on sales, ensuring makers keep 100% of their earnings.

As Guglielmo from Circular ArtSpace explains:

“We want Fishponds to be a place where artists and makers can connect directly with the people who live here - and where everyone, regardless of budget, can find something that moves them.”

A growing community event

We’re proud to host the fair here at the Vassall Community Hub, where previous events have brought together a fantastic mix of people and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
